The majority of our volunteers have had a loved one receive services through Holy Family Hospice. We invite you to become a volunteer by participating in this meaningful experience of comforting individuals and families during their hospice experience.
Prior to becoming a hospice volunteer, you will be asked to complete the required paperwork, orientation, and health testing to be in compliance with hospice state regulated guidelines.
There are a number of ways in which you can contribute your time and talent as a hospice volunteer.
Patient and Family Care
- One-on-one visits
- Reading and other activities
- Assistance with small errands
- Family Support
Clerical
- Mailings
- Copying and assembling manuals, information packets, files
- Bereavement phone calls and follow up
- Marketing support
- Other tasks as needed
